Staying Connected as We Prepare to Open
Healing Hope is actively moving through the final steps required to open our trauma‑informed residential home for children and youth in foster care. This page shares important milestones, licensing progress, program development updates, and opportunities for community involvement. We’ll continue to add new announcements as we grow, build partnerships, and move closer to welcoming our first residents.
Licensing Progress
We are preparing to begin the licensing process with the State of Texas. This includes home inspections, policy reviews, staff training, and compliance verification. Each step brings us closer to opening our doors and providing a safe, nurturing environment for children who need stability and support.
Recent Milestones:
Policy Reviews
Home preparation and safety readiness
Staff training in trauma‑informed care
Development of board of directors
More updates will be added as additional milestones are reached.
Community Partnerships
Healing Hope is forming relationships with local churches, schools, and community organizations to create meaningful opportunities for connection once we open. These partnerships will support mentorship, activities, educational stability, and community engagement for the children we will serve.
We will share partnership announcements here as they are finalized.
Future Events
Healing Hope plans to host community gatherings, volunteer orientations, partnership meetings, and fundraising events once our home is operational. While no events are scheduled at this time, this page will be updated as dates and details are confirmed.
Program Development
Our team is actively shaping the programs that will define daily life at Healing Hope. These include trauma‑informed routines, life‑skills development, emotional support strategies, and community connection opportunities. While these programs are not yet active, we are building them with intention, evidence‑based practices, and a commitment to creating a warm, family‑like environment.
Upcoming updates will highlight:
New partnerships

Volunteer Opportunities
Although our home is not yet open, we are building a list of individuals interested in supporting our mission once licensing is complete. Future volunteer roles may include mentorship, activity support, community engagement, and participation in our Grandparent Program.
